I have been taking landscape photos for years, but many of my fans have asked about taking portrait and event photos. I have always hesitated and said no, but I realize now people love taking photos of themselves. So, I decided to add to my customer base and try Thumbtack. I signed up and brought 20 credits from Thumbtack; then started bidding request. I will be honest that you should always have you guard up, because there are scammers trying to scam you on Thumbtack. I had 3 scammers so far, but I caught on to them early and got out of the transaction. Thumbtack was great, because they refunded my credits after telling them about my encounter with the scammers. I continued to bid jobs, and yesterday I booked my first event shoot thru Thumbtack. I could not be more excited about my first event shoot thru Thumbtack. Does Thumbtack work? My answer is "Yes", and I will continue to bid jobs; and hopefully gain more customers and exiperence. Give them thumbtack.com a try you never know how many customers you will gain from this service.
