Real Estate Photo Shoot

Do you have an apartment or retail space for rent? Having photos and measurements of the property helps the future tentant to determine if the unit will meet their needs! Recently, I was hired to measure a retail unit for the future tentant to determine the exact layout. The future tentant's design firm was located in Indiana, so the firm turned to Thumbtack to hire a photographer. The firm responded to my quote, and I was hired to complete the job. My service included measuring the entire unit, providing drawings of the unit, and photos of the current layout. My drawings included overall layout, left wall, right wall, back wall, and the store front. If you own a retail maybe providing this detailed in the listing could possibly lead to faster leasing of the unit. If you own a retail space or apartment in the Central Virginia region, then give me a call 434-941-9897 to setup a real estate photo shoot!

Event Photography

Recently, the app Gametime hired me to conduct a photo shoot inside John Paul Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Virginia Cavaliers were playing the Georgia Tech Yellowjacks! I took photos from all 40 sections within John Paul Arena, and Gametime will now use my photos to help them sell tickets to future games. Andrew head of photography for Gametime was thrilled with my photos, and I have already been booked by Gametime for two shoots in Richmond. If you have an event in the Central Virginia area, and you need a photographer then email me for a quote! I book event shoots in Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Danville, and Richmond Virginia! Feel free to email me at kevinjstruble@gmail.com

Does Thumbtack Work?

I have been taking landscape photos for years, but many of my fans have asked about taking portrait and event photos. I have always hesitated and said no, but I realize now people love taking photos of themselves. So, I decided to add to my customer base and try Thumbtack. I signed up and brought 20 credits from Thumbtack; then started bidding request. I will be honest that you should always have you guard up, because there are scammers trying to scam you on Thumbtack. I had 3 scammers so far, but I caught on to them early and got out of the transaction. Thumbtack was great, because they refunded my credits after telling them about my encounter with the scammers. I continued to bid jobs, and yesterday I booked my first event shoot thru Thumbtack. I could not be more excited about my first event shoot thru Thumbtack. Does Thumbtack work? My answer is "Yes", and I will continue to bid jobs; and hopefully gain more customers and exiperence. Give them thumbtack.com a try you never know how many customers you will gain from this service.

Wintergreen Resort Photo Shoot

A few weeks ago, I took a drive up to the Wintergreen Resort to take some photos of the slopes! The Virginia ski season will start soon, and a recent cold spell allowed some snow to made on the slopes. While heading home I took some photos of Little Creek which runs beside Route 644 on the way back from the Wintergreen Resort! The long exposure photos turned out great and I really enjoy taking long exposure photos!

Directions is VA 151 (Patrick Henry Highway) off Route 29 then turn into Route 644 (Breech Grove Rd) and the creek runs besides the roadway!

Peaks of Otter

The beautiful Peaks of Otter lodge as seen from SharpTop overlook! This photo was taken by Kevin J Struble Photography! This overlook is located off Route 43 and is about 10 miles from Bedford, Virginia! The hike is about 1.5 miles straight up from the SharpTop parking area, but the view is so worth it! You should be in decent shape and if hiking near dusk you need to bring a flashlight!
